Winters Last Gasp?

Maybe. Rainin, gloomy, and 40 on the North Coast this AM. Possible "snow" 1-2" tonight. Have been below freezing temps nites all week.

Heat bills up 25% over same April period last year.

Hopefully will warm and be dry enuf for new roof install 5/7.

Furnace actin up - may be new one + AC unit in near future.

Finally out 3 days this week for yard clean up and tree trimming. Just scratched surface.

This AM goin to "International Brunch", at neighbors - whatever that is. (Really to intro new boyfriend of hostess who's lookin for approval. While the hostess has been long over grieving for her husband who passed 2 years ago - this Capt is not.

Lost another of the "old timers" this week. Widower. Great guy who's been goin downhill the last year. Took over the bocce program here from him. Member of my bocce committee in nursing home...liver cancer. Not the best of days.

But, Springs renewal always comes. The fish will return (legal post) and with them some sense of normalcy to an otherwise PC world.
