Ocracoke is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and below it is Cape Lookout National Seashore so you can't do it in those areas.

I'm thinking about getting Creative Jewelers in Kill Devil Hills to make me a big gold pirate ring out of a pure 24 karat bullion ring I dug up.

It's way too big and in bad shape.

Find or draw up a Black Beard Flag for it and have something like those silver pirate biker rings. :)

That place can melt the gold and use your own design, said he hadn't done a pirate ring before but seemed to be excited.
