That new bridge is at least 15 years too late . Yes I agree that it's basic use will be only 12 - 15 weeks a year but it will make everyone's OBX experience a whole lot better . Especially where 12 meets 158 to go across the current bridge . That's a freggin mess ! I think putting the ccps there this year made it even worse .
In reading about the new bridge though it amazes me that they want to charge upwards of $25 bucks to cross the damn thing . Wonder if that will impact the new Bonner and the ferry's ? Hopefully residents will get a free pass .
Can't wait to see the Bonner start going up !
