Honor Duty Country

Bit late, but excuse an old soldier...

Subject words were spoken by Douglas MacArthur.

Watched "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" for the umpteenth time this week. Still notice little things missed previously. Made me think of honor in all things.

Would that honor and country still meant what it did years ago. Except for the military today, believe its gone. Soldiers fighting in all wars did so to protect the freedoms we hold so dear. Today they are rapidly disappearing. This Capt never ever thought he'd see this country in its current state.

Can't say more w/o goin political, so won't.

My personal thanks to all of you who "served" thru the years. Your sacrifice is NOT forgotten.
