Not idolizing MacArthur, rather the principles of his speech. Honor, duty, country. He was along w/ Patton one of a few "lightning rods" in our wars.

Sorry about your grandfathers experience. All vets had their good and bad experiences. Another great correctly said "war is hell". This Capt adds...so is the treatment of those who served after the conflict. VA and after the fact legislative removal of promised benefits are and continue to be, unconscious able.

Lets get back to the fishin...
