You know , I've heard of big tuna being in close and chasing bigger blues up onto the beach , just like other fish do with menhaden. Makes you wonder when you see some of the old photos that people claim to have been caused by fishermen. I know I've seen a couple of pictures that looked like mass beachings rather than any man made mess.

Not that I'm that confident that big tuna cruise the surf on the regular , but if it's ever happened Hatteras Island would be one of my top picks for where just because it sticks out into the ocean so close to the Gulf Stream.
