Thanks Capt D..... in that case, local guys report away.

I'm just a guy who comes down to the OBX for a week.
I'm not looking to get into fights about captains and who's better because I am strictly surf fisherman. It's just something to do other than read a book and get nagged about the cousins burying each other in the sand. Being a landlocked freshwater guy up here in Pittsburgh kinda sucks. So I enjoy the peace and relative quiet of the sunrise/ evening on the beach.

I understand what you guys mean about the reports and I agree a grain of salt with the tackle shop reports is always a good idea. But what do you LOCAL GUYS think. Northern Beaches, the family is staying around the Research Pier in Duck.
