Need Fishing Advice For October

Coming down on 12 Oct thru 17 Oct. I do not have four wheel drive so I will be mostly pier fishing and surf fishing where I do not have to walk long distances. Will be staying in Kitty Hawk and would like for advice on where to surf fish where I will be able to park car in public parking and walk short distances. Thankyou.
