Wife and I honeymooned in the banks in 85. First time I laid eyes on the place. Had never been fishing before. Didn't go then either. Few years later I got my arm twisted and we went back, this time with her mother and grandparents. Grandpa was a huge fisherman and insisted we go fishing. Made me buy a rod and reel combo for $10.00 and a quarter pound of shrimp. Went to Oregan inlet and I was catching Croaker two at a time. Taught me what cut bait was which I found rather revolting since they were still alive. Then I caught a doormat flounder which was apparently not the big deal it is now. Grandpaw also had a huge thirst for cold beer when grandmaw wasn't around. Great day, been hooked ever since.
