The local weather WAVY10 on tv is saying the swells from Bertha will be here Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The storm doesn't have to be close to get them, waves from one can travel a 1,000 miles. I would guess the waves could start tomorrow further south like Ramp 49 and 55.

I didn't think it was going to come in unless the storm keeps turning to the right and makes a loop which has happened before but it rarely happens. The hurricanes that start off from Africa that hit usually move up fairly close to the east side of the islands south of Florida.

It is a bad sign this early, could end up being one after the other like a train further out in September. If so probably will be good spot fishing from the piers this year in September.
