Been off the "net" for several days and got excited to see all the posts. Much to my "chagrin" you guys are just xchangin recipes:):) Pretty sad for this time of year.
50 years ago used to cook clams on habachi. Put em on, and watch em close. As soon as they open, flip em over as the meat migrates away from the heat. After flip, can add any sauce, and cook till done.
