I wear the soft flip flops like Sanuk and Reef, the Sanuk Beer Cozy is a good one. Makes walking on the beach easier and you don't have to worry about stepping on anything even if your wading just don't pick your foot up when the wave is going back out. :)

Best to drive to the medical center and get the numb shot if you don't have a doctor handy and always be extra careful removing fish from Gotcha and Mirrolures. :)
