cast net

I did something wrong when I posted my last message,so that's what the ''test'' was all about. Sorry about that. I bought a 8' cast net on advice from a bait shop guy to net 2''-4'' mullet for bait,but it's like throwing a bull moose into the surf from shore for me. I switched to a 4.50'er and between on line info,watching people throw and asking questions I got the thing to open up enough to net bait to keep me fishing. I am thinking about getting a 5'or 6'er Should I? Any advice,tips or online links would be very much appreciated.
