Mono is mono. Can be used fresh or saltwater. 3 types of line for saltwater: braid, mono, fluorocarbon. Each has pros and cons. Think mono best all round (and cheapest) choice.

Beyond the stupidity of the Jug Handle location (thanks to tree huggers) the south junction at 12 is gonna be a nightmare. A "Roundabout" comin off highway speeds. Most drivers won't have ever seen one let alone how to maneuver on/off one.
