Must take umbrage w/ bein called a grunt as thats an unskilled soldier.

Funny thing tho...never was assigned w/i MOS. Was Adjutant, TS control officer, investigating officer, movements officer, advisor to Special Forces.

Turned down 2x position of Generals aide (2nd time got this Capt immediate orders to RVN)...and got to sign own orders.

And put on admin hold 2x for non MOS related jobs when was time to muster out. One was probability the most plush job in the Far East.

As for dumb folks. Have allowed schools at all levels to drink the kool aide and pass to the unsuspecting students who vote accordingly.
