Couple of Thanksgiving favorites, corn pudding was from an old NC farm and the green bean casserole came from a magazine and improved over time.
Corn Pudding
1 can yellow corn (drained)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. flourMix ingredients and cook uncovered in oven at 400 degrees for about 1 hour. Keep thin using an 8x8 baking dish or if doubled 9x13 to cook right in an hour.
Green Bean Casserole
2 cans cut green beans (drained)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 can milk in empty soup can
1 small tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
a couple of shakes of black pepper
1 small can french fried onion rings (no salt)Mix 3/4 of fried onions with all other ingredients in casserole dish. Put rest of onion rings on top of casserole - cover or top will burn and bake 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
