Earlier forecast for north Coast was below average snow and above average temps. Last week changed to bit more snow than average and average temps w/ early spring. So... who knows?

Only wooly bear spotted a month ago had mostly black.

Been tryin to repair lawns ravaged by drought and tree roots over the summer. If nothing else keeps this Capt off the streets:):)

Noticed very few hickory nuts on trees. Not even botherin w/ black walnut collecting this year. Holiday cookies not good last year even w/ the hand picked LA pecans.

W/o usual nut supply could be rough winter for those rodents you call squirrels.
