Jason, Most of us on this board share your addiction to fishing. I love it and I am sure others will chime in. When it's slow on the Outer Banks, I take up fishing at other spots such as canals and rivers. During this time of the year I fish for Hickory Shad either in a canal in Gatesville which is off the Chowan river or either I fish between Scotland Neck or Weldon on the Roanoke River. Once the heron on the Chowan arrive and the Hickory Shad on the Roanoke arrive then comes the nice Stripers. This time of the year this is what I build up to is Striper fishing and then hopefully some drum fishing, crappies, and white perch. There are many fishing opportunities out there all around NE North Carolina and I am sure someone would love to share some time with you doing this. I personally do not care whom is with me or about the companionship, I just love to fish, chill out and relax. Keep a tight line, Debbie
