You're very welcome! A lot of times , I'll go scouting the evening before I plan to fish - low tide is about the easiest time to pick out the bar and breaks in it.

In my experience , the spots along the beach with coarse sand/gravel/shell pieces are one of the best ways to find likely spots when you're first learning. Pieces of sand fleas washed up are a good indicator , too. I've always thought that the coarse stuff ends up on the beach around outflows , because it's too heavy to be pulled out , but I could be wrong.
