Trip back incl. Heavy rains in WV mountains. Light traffic. Lotsa law enforcement. Was the holiday weekend.

Been nursing water logged lawns, and overgrown plantings. After 6 days still unpackin. Lotsa small fires to put out here in the "old peoples" refuge. Gearin up for "Murder Mystery" at the pool next weekend. W/ all this Capt's comments re: surfers over the years its poetic justice that his part in the event will be a champion surfer who just completed detox:):)

The pompano last seen on way out toward break btw 1st and 2nd sand bar.

You let the "axe murderer" comment go, and jump on the pompano?? You think its easy to catch a 2 1/2" pomp on a #1 hook?? No, no pic.

Fishin gear all scrubbed, lubed, and packed away, Need to do 2nd eschalon repairs on beach chairs next week. Mrs. Capt has other priorities of course. Deck so full of statues, busts, fountains, table and chairs, grill, and new entertainment set, theres hardly room to walk, but shes happy as a clam.
