An artzy shot of him picking the grass off with the sunrise and dune. You can see how this beach has formed with the humps on it and him being set up on top of one, sometimes it's all flat beach but I really like this structure.

This place was near the Buccaneer Motel. The beach access on the south side of the Black Pelican restaurant in Kitty Hawk usually has this kind of beach structure but can also have a lot of swimmers there during the day when the water is warm.

If it was me with 3 rods without the grass around I would set all of the rods up in sand spikes across the top of the hump. The 2 outside rods and smallest would be casted up close in the drop off directly between the humps on each side. The middle rod and biggest I would try to cast just over the outer bar where the waves are starting to break below. That tends to work best most of the time for me.
