I haven't noticed anything it's very shallow and gradually gets deeper as you go out. Speckled trout can be there during the summer months, maybe now. The crabbing can be good and they will go after your bare feet, wear old tennis shoes or waders. One of my neighbors didn't listen last summer about the crabs and wasn't happy when he got back.

I have had a big snake not let me pass there before on land so watch out for them. A more developed less snakey area with parking would be the public boat ramp further south of the Windgrass Circle public access at Dock Street on Bay Drive in KDH.
