Thirty years ago spiders were a real problem on the Whalehead beaches. May still be. Esp., on the homes. Would hide in the eaves and drop on webs after sunset.

1st nite chore was to go out on decks and porches w/ plastic baseball bats and drive em into the nite.

Re: fuzzys. Have similar on the north coast. Called midges.

Reminds of old BW movie set in Middle East which referred to "fuzzy wuzzys". Not politically correct now so can't go into detail.

And .... can your "fuzzys" be used as garnish on skate??:):)
