You could probably fix that salsa up, I like mango salsa but hadn't tried doing it, I can't pick out fresh mangos. I think I've seen them canned before.

Newmans is good from the store and I've had a really good mango / peach salsa from one of those buy in bulk stores, it was their brand in a big plastic container.

Hurricane Mo's in Kitty Hawk is still closed, they are in a low area and got flooded during Sandy. Their old kitchen equipment is in the parking lot along with a couple of big dumpsters. I think they are going to open again next year.

The Black Pelican on high ground across the road beside them is open. I picked up a to go order from there last night, southern fried flounder and shrimp and got them to switch the rice pilaf and vegetables to mashed potatoes and cole slaw. It was good but I think they might have a new chef. The cocktail sauce and tartar sauce was different and the mashed potatoes were instant, I should have asked for french fries. I liked the cocktail sauce, they used Texas Pete instead of horseradish. I didn't like the new tartar sauce.
