Aftermath - North Coast

Here on North Coast power down for 12 hours yesterday. Hi 41. Fireplace (gas) kept place warm. No loss of food. Flood warnings continue for the 5th day. Torrential rains and winds to 60 Mon thru Tues nite. Rain every day since Thursday. Some of crew had windows and doors leaking. Nothing that can't be repaired. W/i 15 miles still apprx. 20,000 w/o power. Some won't be restored till after the weekend. For sure...Storm of the Century.

New York and esp. New Jersey damage just stunning.

Be safe in the aftermath. Esp. clearing away debris. Be very cautious about fallen and hidden wires.
