Thanks again for all the help. I was not able to put in the time that was needed to get in the fish. A few small schools of bait were out in front of the house at Corolla last week and I was able to hook up with a few blues. I never got a chance to get or make one of those rigs for the mackerel but we saw them jumping like crazy. I went out a ways in the surf and they were jumping 15 at a time just skipping across the surface. I know you guys love the surf but its pretty cool sitting in a kayak out so far that you can't hear the people on the beach and watching the fish jump and swim around you. I'm hoping to get back down soon and put in some dedicated fishing time out of the yak and see what I can do. Hope I took the heat wave with me when I left on Sat!!!
