Any beach driving from just North of the Oregon Inlet to the Southern Beach's of Ocracoke are now costly . $50 for a weekly permit and $120 for the yearly . Check with any of the tackle shops and they will have a current list of accessable and beach closing's due to bird / turtle nests. Fines for not having one are expensive if caught !
From Nags Head north through Corolla the individual towns do and don't charge but they have their specific seasons . The beach's up north with 4x4 accessable only are not affected .
