Was there last year second week of Aug. Lots of small Blues on Kastmasters.But the beach is full. Fishing early and late the way to go.During the day you will only catch tourists.Caught a 150 lb'er that ran over my line on a surfboard.Will be there this year the 19-26 and have some concern.Was there two weeks ago and only about 4' of water in the trough between the beach and the outer bar at high tide all along the beach. Need a good storm to open it up.Saw no breaks in the bar between Four seasons and Duck Pier. Might be some north of the pier.Good luck.Ask Robert or John at Bob's bait and tackle for advise.
