Bit of nostaglia.

25 years ago, Whalehead, kids arrive back at cottage from beach w/ filthy stinky dog. Actually follows em inside much to consternation of the wife. W/i few minutes dog eatin a "steak" out on the deck. Kids just sure he hasn't eaten for days. Dog around every day after that. Swimmin and playin w/ kids, rollin in the sand...the whole nine yards. And, of course, the lost, stray, surely starving dog ("Bear") turned out to be a "local" who lived about 300 ft. down the beach.

Re: lost dogs found. Well done... No love like that exchanged w/ a dog. Hopefully by now owner will have stepped up.
