Beach Closures

David , you sound like me. Hatteras is like a second wife for a lot of us :)

There will be beaches open , but as it stands right now there are lots of new rules and regs being implemented that pertain to access. Probably your best bet would be to seek advice at a tackle shop if you want to drive out on the sand. Pedestrian access isn't restricted as much , but there are still a ton of rules.

We've joked before that you'd need to hire a lawyer to figure out the rules , and sadly it's almost that bad now.
