I carry my rods the same way. PVC pipe ziptied to my Jeeps roofrack. Alway have that fear of it comming loose. I hope whoever finds it does the right thing.I really feel for you. Hope it comes out OK.Might try calling some of the local tackle shops and hoping whoever found it is a stand up guy.Wishing you best of luck.
