The 10 day forecast looks good so far and it can be blues, trout, black drum, puppy drum, spot, croaker, sea mullet and more this time of year. As for bait I'd try a variety and see what's working the best on whatever is biting like fresh cut bait, fresh shrimp, frozen squid, Fishbites bloodworms. You've been catching some fish before so you know what your doing.

The speckled trout fishing has been good and should be the rest of this month and next on the north sides of Avalon Pier and Nags Head Pier real early in the morning.
