About the only report I've heard from the surf is King's below , catching a few big spot. Storms do stir things up and it can be very good fishing once things settle down. You won't be able to get to Hatteras Island - could be good further North. Let us know :)

I did hear a rumor that the offshore boats were doing good with White Marlin. 14 boats out yesterday or today and 110 fish tagged and released. 10 fish per boat is a d@mn good day for those fish - lots of flags flying :) I'll try to post if I hear anything , but it's still a little too early for things to be "normal" (whatever that is)

On another matter , Katia is going to churn things up. Hope she doesn't pass too close to the OBX , could make rips and the surf bad. Rodanthe , Waves , Salvo , Avon and points in between don't need another storm right now.
