Colington Creek

There's largemouth bass, brim, catfish, eels, croaker, flounder and probably more at the parking area by the 2nd little bridge where everybody crabs. Colington Creek is the 1st little bridge on Colington Road. That's wide and real shallow with channel in the middle. I like the other bridge better because it's easier to park and not as snakey, the first bridge has bigger crabs. I bottom fish / crab with a regular double hooked saltwater rig and cut bait around the bridge and channel. I've seen people wading with fly rods catching bass and brim around the piers and boat docks on the west side of the parking area. You need a freshwater license for Kitty Hawk Bay and one of the fish cops lives in Colington Harbor.
