Rehash, but no, fishin not the same as 30 years ago. It was 50 early morn and another 50 before dark back then. The good old days. Lots blame myriad of reasons. IMHO its the netters close in that have done all the damage. (Now don't attack me for my take).
Tree huggers have the ball and the judge in their pocket. Suspect we won't see sanity, but our kids might.
Oh my, feel the pulpit comin on... When in high school a few years ago ( lucky I can remember back that far, bein a buzzard,) one of our books was titled the "Common Good". Society was based on concept that what was good for the majority was the rule. That changed and morphed into political correctness and that the right of the individual surpasses the will of the majority. Blame goes all round, but think mostly on the "silent majority" of us old folks who sat by and let the "screaming minority" change the country. Pulpit closed.
On positive note...waitin right now for son to arrive to rig and spiff up gear. Annual event. Nothin worse than spendin hours of quality time on the water diggin and riggin when the fishy's are right in front of you:).
