Fished rodanthe pier yesterday lot of spade being caught on s iihrimp scattered spanish came in after 4:00 had one hid on chartruse gotcha cut me off. Spadefish seemed to get bigger in the evening saw some real nice ones gonna hit the pier again tomorrow. Having trouble finding fresh bait. Tried the surf this morning and was only able to find ittybitty sand fleas saw nice black drum caught yesterday off pier on sand flea guessing maybe 5-7 lbs. Tried cast net in sound behind rodanthe water sports campground came up empty. Good luck when you get here
