North Hatteras July

Hi all,

I'm working for a TV show in the UK called Extreme Fishing with Robson Green (Robson is an actor but after 4 years of doing this with us he is also a seasoned fisherman). We are currently shooting our fifth series and will be coming Hatteras Island to film in July for one day.

What's the best pier or area of beach as near to Nag's Head as possible?(we don't have much time to travel all the way to the south part) What's great to catch in July from the shore? I would also like to get in touch with someone who is an experienced surf/pier fisherman in the area who could come fishing with us and who I could call in the next day or two ask about the fishing in the area. I’m looking for someone with a lifelong passion for the fishing Hatteras. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
