May Fishing

Hello all, loooong time (3+years) lurker, first time poster.

We'll be heading down to Nags Head the week before Memorial Day and I was just wondering what ya'll had to say as far as species I should target this time of year, baits, etc.

Usually we come down after Labor Day, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with what to expect in terms of spring fishing.

Also, I just wanted to say that this board has provided me with a HUGE wealth of knowledge and many tips over the years, and I wanted to say thanks to everyone that takes the time to post all of that great information.
