It will help the 2,000 pound limit and the pass there overage from boat to boat will help out 100 percent! As the old law they were forbid to pass there catch from boat to boat. This is just a SMALL victory and alot more needs to change. The coast guard really needs to go after the mile law breakers. I would like to say a special thank you to WTKR Channel 3 news out of Norfolk Va for breaking this story and giving it national attenton! There story has been all across the news from CNN to FOX also been all over the major fishing fourms from east coast to west coast. Saltwater mag picked the story up and Guy Harvey even commented to CNN about the rule change . With that being said THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that sent emails and phonecalls.
