It used to be more enjoyable. Most of the litter washes up during the storms from everywhere. For example I've seen the beach covered in toys after a storm. The beaches that you can drive on in the park are kept clean by the people that drive on them. The foxes and possums help too by eating the carcasses that wash up.

Go to Ramp 1 or Pea Island and you'll see a mess. The first or second dune breach at Ramp 1 has what looked like a whole house washed up in it. If people were allowed to drive on that beach it would have been pick up for beach fires.
