In Response To: Little bridge/Puppy Drum (Rock)

It's been mostly small trout along with some stripers and croakers the last couple of weeks at the little bridge. The stripers and croakers have been there on the northwest wind and the trout are probably being caught early morning and evening. You could try a northeast wind there for the puppy drum but I don't know if you will catch any puppy drum.

I think the magic water temperature for puppy drum in the surf will be 63-64 degrees or a little colder and that's probably going to be when everybody is catching them. So far the water temperature seems to be running about 5 degrees warmer than last fall.
