I'm no weather expert , but you need to watch it closely. Worst case scenario - Dare and Currituck counties could be under mandatory evacuation and you could be turned away. Best scenario would be for Earl to fizzle and die or pass 500 miles off the coast. I was down last year when Bill passed about 500 miles off the coast , beach erosion was bad , the ocean was in the road in several places , waves were 8-10 feet etc.

The fishing was pretty good after it settled down but then Danny passed off shore and churned it up again. If you're able to go take a rod for sure.

King , Rick C , Lenny L and the rest of you guys down there be safe. The Outer Banks and it's residents will definitely be in my thoughts this week
