When the wind switched to the northeast Tuesday the surf warmed up quick 80 degrees and was a Bahama color. I don't know if your interested but there's been a school of big drum off the Wright Brothers Monument. They came in Wednesday and were caught at Avalon Pier. I'm thinking maybe you might get lucky and find one in the surf after dark around high tide at Ocean Bay Blvd., Prospect Ave. or 2nd St. beach accesses in Kill Devil Hills.
