To try and sum it up. Any wind out of the East NE, E, SE, warms the water up. Wind out of the west SW, W, NW, cools the water down. Just remember winds out of the east clear and warm and winds out of the west dirty cold and can be grassy. Depending on what you like to fish for. My experience has been bottom fishing is better on a west wind such as Sea Mullet, Croker and spot. East wind is better for blues, Spanish, Kings and Cobia. Of corse it is called fishing for a reason. There are exceptions to the rules. Tight lines!!
