I agree King,......I love living down here......lived in Manteo for 28 years......I dread having to cross the bridge nowadays.....but it sure is nice looking at the Beach catching those Dolphin,Triggerfish and Seabass with an occasional Grouper on light spinning tackle.
I had some guys drive all the way from upper Carova Beach on 7/7.....WOW is all I can say...They said for the trip they got they would do it again.
On another note these guys generally go to Pensacola,Fla. for vaction...but due to the oil deal they came to the Outer Banks....they were from Missouri and as a matter of fact they knew 10 other families that came here because of the BP fiasco in Fla.
good for us ,..bad for them....I truly feel for the waterman down there....sad,sad,sad
