Years ago I used a Berkley product in a small jar that looked like octopus legs, long skinny irregular material.
I used it while fishing on the pier in place of bloodworms.
It was effective, however not quite as good as the real worm.
It was strong and stayed on the hook. Not sure if it is still available as I got it in 87..I still have a few bottles, they were on sale at Bass Pro Shop in Springfield MO.
1987 almost 25 years and still looks good...I bet one could use this with a shot of gulp...Maybe I'll try it the next trip down
