jlmann is correct as usual.All depends on weather and water temp.Two years ago last week of Sept. pups and blues all over the place in the Duck surf.Last year zip.Been there in mid Nov. with the water temp in the low 70's and blues everywhere. Next year nothing.Sort of impossible to forecast it.Fall is the best time, but always hit or miss.Always comes down to wind and and water temp.The wind is what changes the water temp.The most flustrating thing is getting the right wind direction and its blowing to hard to fish.
