PIN rig is good. Live blue for bait. You need an anchor line (surf rod is good for this) and a fighting line- Penn 4-0 or better on stout rod with about 400 yds of 30# test or better. Also you need anchor, pin-rig, and wire leader ( pre-made mackeral rig is good)Set the anchor line then slide the pin-rig with live bait down it. You can bungee rod holders to the railing.
