Just watch the kids and dogs at the Whalehead Club. Lots of snakes.Last time I was there counted seven of the biting kind swimming around the pier to the left.Kind of made my skin crawl.If you have acccess to a pier you can use a commercial pot.I think the law allows one without a licence.Used to do real good with them up there.The best thing I ever saw was a dead bloating nuteria floating against a bulkhead in Corolla Light with about thirty crabs attached.Yum we love to eat those things.Never stopped me, but did get sort of grossed out that night.
