I always use an empty spool of line. The 1/4 lb spool works pretty good for holding a couple. I just use a piece of Scotch tape to hold one end and wrap them around the spool and tape the other end. A lot of times though a Sabiki rig is a single use item.

Sometimes I'll just cut the hooks off and retie them later. Also if the hooks have hair or feathers on them they need to be rinsed off very well after they've been in saltwater or they'll rust and end up getting trashed anyway.
